Email Settings

Setting

Description

Email Outgoing Server

The address of the Outgoing Email Server you wish to use eg: smtp.gmail.com (Gmail), smtp.telstrabusiness.net (Telstra)

Email User Name

Normally the email user name is your email address such as: info@evopos.com.au. Note if your email is with a different company to your ISP you may need to check that your ISP will allow outgoing emails from that address. On some Outgoing Mail Servers such as: smtp.telstrabusiness.net you can leave the username and passcode blank if your internet connection is with the same company

Email Passcode

Password for the above

Email FROM Default

Your business email address for bulk emailing Note: In many cases it will use the Operator From Email address in Settings Operators. In these cases it will also use the operators Signature text which is also set there

Email SSL option

Set to Yes for Gmail, MS Live or other email servers that require this

Email Port No

Default is Port 25, Gmail is Port 587

Email From address

Note: It will only use this for some bulk mailings. With individual mailings it will use the From Email Address in Settings / Operators for the currently logged on Operator

Default Messages

You can set the default message for each type of message

Email Log (Button)

To list out emails sent. Shows if successful or not


SMS (Text Messaging) Settings

Please contact customer services for your initial User ID and Passcode to enter into Settings. Also call to purchase additional SMS credits

The User Passcode that we supply you with

SMS Available Credits

How many SMS credits you have available. This is updated each time an SMS is sent

You can set the default message for each type of message
