EPC Setup - All Makes

To configure select Settings from the top menu, select Workstations from the top row of Tabs, and select the appropriate Workstation. Then on the Sales tab the EPC Settings are near the bottom

The File is the folder and file name where the EPC or other program puts the file.

The Format is for each format (different delimiter etc) and column order of the file

The EPC will normally create the file (see below), and when you press [Enter] on the Sales screen it will import it.

Current formats supported include:

Format

Description

PartSmart (BPR etc)

This is a Comma delimited file. The PartNo is the 2nd field, Description is the 3rd, and the Quantity is the 5th field. The filename is normally: C:\Picklist.csv

Boss Web (BRP)

This is a Comma delimited file. The PartNo is the 1st field, and the Quantity is the 2nd field. The filename is normally: C:\users\<USER>\Downloads\EPCOrder%%DATE%%.boe  The <USER> should be replaced with the name of the currently logged as the Windows User Name on that computer. This is the BPR Boss web site includes brands such as Seadoo, Canam, Evenrude etc. To create the file add items to a Pick list in Boss Web, then select 'View Pick list' and select the option 'Save for BossWeb..'

Honda CD (Tab)

This is Tab delimited file. The PartNo is the 2nd field and the Quantity is the 4th field. The filename is normally: C:\DMSPARTS.TXT Normally the older CD based system (Mostly UK).

Honda Web (Tab)

This is a Tab delimited file. The PartNo is the 2nd field, Quantity is the 4th field, Retail is the 6th and Description is the 8th field. Will ignore any lines that do NOT start with D. The filename is normally: C:\EPC\DMS.TXT

Honda Web (Fixed Length)

This is a Fixed Width text file.The PartNo is from position 1 and is 15 long, the Quantity is from position 38 and is 9 long, Retail is from 63 and 10 long, and Description is from position 75 and is 35 long. Will ignore any lines that do NOT start with D.

Kawasaki (~)

This is a '~' delimited file. The PartNo is the 2nd field, Description is the 3rd, and the Quantity is the 4th field. Lines starting with # are ignored. The filename normally ends in: KAW.TXT Normally the older CD based systems.

Kawasaki (;)

This is a ';' delimited file. The PartNo is the 1st, and the Quantity is the 2nd field. Normally the UK Web based systems.

Suzuki

This is a ',' Comma delimited file.  The PartNo is the 2nd field, the Quantity is the 3rd field and Description is the 4th. Note: If the 13th to 15th digits are '000' the system will only use the first 11 digits. We normally recommend that Suzuki parts in Price Books and Stock file have the dashes removed and are padded out to 14 digits with zeros  

Triumph

This is a Fixed Length text file. The PartNo is from position 6 and is 15 long, the Quantity is from position 28 and is 11 long. The filename is normally: C:\ORDER.TXT

Yamaha (Tab)

 

This is a Tab delimited file. The PartNo is the 2nd field, Quantity is the 3rd field, and Description is the 4th field. The filename is normally: C:\EPC\DMS.TXT Normally Yamaha UK.

Yamaha (Fixed Length)

This is a Fixed Length text file. The PartNo is from position 26 and is 15 long, the Quantity is from position 46 and is 7 long. The Evopos system will remove any dashes and pad out to 12 digits with zeros. Normally Yamaha AUS.  

OPEA EDI Format

This is a Fixed Length text file. Popular format in Australia.

Evopos Order format

This format can be created in Purchase Orders and includes the Customer details

Evopos Basic format

This format does not include customer details
