Evopos HQ enables multiple Branches (Remote Divisions with separate stand-alone databases) to update to a central HQ database.
The HQ database must be accessible over the internet (via a static IP address or Dynamic DNS sevice). You can have multiple workstations at the HQ. You can also connect in to HQ via our Evopos Mobile app and new Evopos Cloud.
The Branches can use Evopos Touch and/or Evopos Desktop. Branches have their own database so they can work independently and are fast and reliable. They do not require an internet connection for normal operations. You can have multiple workstations at a Branch.
Branches only need an internet connection when they update to and From HQ. Because the Update is initiated from the Branch, the Branch does not need a static IP address and can update using a mobile USB internet device or if the workstation is taken into an area where the internet is available.
