Report Fields

Reports can contain 3 main types of fields: Data fields, Pre-defined Formula fields and User-defined Formula fields

 

Data Fields - These are Determined by the View of the Report. See Report Views for more information

 

Pre-Defined Formula fields

*SQL                                (Must always set – Make sure same view as used in report)

*VW                                (Only set in one report for each view - See Report Views below for which one)

*TREE_ORDER                            (Only if want to position on tree (Top = 1, if not set will set to 50)

*CRITERIA_DEFAULT                  (Add if setting a default criteria)

*ALLOW_SORT                                  (Only if report is able to have different sorts eg: not grouped set //Yes)

*SORT_DEFAULT                        (Only if above set)

_REPORT_TITLE                          (Add on Reports - leave blank unless you want Title different from file name in import)

_LOGO_SMALL _LOCATION        (Normally used for Reports and 80mm Dockets)

_LOGO_LARGE _LOCATION        (Normally used for A4 Forms)

_CRITERIA_DESCRIPTION        (Normally only used in Reports - leave blank – Populated from criteria set)

_DIVISION_NAME                        (Always add - leave blank – Populated by default Division for workstation)

_DIVISION_DETAIL_1                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_DETAIL_2                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_DETAIL_3                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_DETAIL_4                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_DETAIL_5                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_TAX_NO                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_DIVISION_TAX_NO                (Add only if needed - leave blank – Populated by default Division for Workstation)

_FOOTER_MESSAGE                (Normally only used in Forms – leave blank)

_CURRENCY_SYMBOL                (Add only when needed – leave blank – Populated with symbol set in Company settings)

_TAX_NAME                        (Add only when needed – leave blank – Populated with name set in Company settings)

_MESSAGE                        (Message)

 

User-Defined Formula Fields

Fields can be created using a wide range of formulas and the calculation of different data fields

Note: Do not start other formula fields with _ or * or they may be confused with our pre-defined fields
